Those keen to discuss the diversity of our Australian cultural are welcome to join. Members are encouraged to share stories of their migration experience, travels, photographs.
Can Australian culture be seperated from our cultual diversity?
The group can also discuss what is it that constitutes Australian culture?
Issues of interest such as - Is Multiculturalism a fad?
Should migrants integrate with the mainstream culture?
Should there be a test for migrants to check if they know English and wether they have knowledge of Australian history?
The group invites discussion on the Indeginous people of Australia. They belonged to the land and now all land belongs to the crown. Is that fair?
Culture is constantly evolving and there is no right and wrong about culture. In a nut sheel culture is nothing but shared values. What are these shared values? How do we deal with values that are not shared?
Racism is often incited hatered against one group usually born out of ignorance. What lessons have we learnt from the Hollocust?
Can we help one another by sharing our understanding of shared values to strengthen our culture and make it grow. Those who have a different definition of what is culture are most welcome to express themselves.
