Astrophotography - frustrating pleasure !

Allot of work goes into taking a good astro photo. Getting all of the equipment to work correctly is one challenge and then hoping it does not stray during 1 to 5 minute exposures is the other. If you end up with one good photo after a nights effort then consider the evening a success! When you go fishing, do you always catch fish!

Below are some photos of what you might be able to see at a viewing night. The photos are taken by our club member Luisa Falivene who has recently started learning about astrophotography. Luisa is only a beginner and with more practice the pictures should become more clearer and sharper.
