The Studio @ NSS
One of the services offered by NSS is an extensive arts program called The Studio which is run by local artists, and also works with local practicing artists who are committed to providing quality community based education and training in the visual arts.
The Studio operates as part of an extensive network which enables it to collaborate, design and develop innovative projects with community groups and other artists.
The Studio assists professional artists to run workshops which enables NSS artists to expand their knowledge. Exhibitions and community projects provide opportunities for participants to sell their work and to be acknowledged by the arts community.
The My Community site for The Studio @ NSS is designed to facilite discussion around art and exhibitions between the artist members. It is also a forum to post events and festivals and build relationships between the artists. We hope that artists will post examples of their work and photos from events.
