Association of Relinquishing Mothers
ARMS is a support group for women who have lost a child or children to adoption. We started in 1982 out of a common need for women who were thinking of searching, had begun to search, or had made contact with their adopted daughter or son.
ARMS provides a caring, non-judgemental atmosphere for women dealing with the difficulties of their position as natural mothers of adopted people.
We meet as a support group for a get-together, discussion and self-help counselling at 2.00 pm on the first Saturday of each month (except January) at:
VANISH, 3rd Floor, Burbank House, 100 Franklin Street, Melbourne (closest corner Elizabeth Street)
