Association of Independent Retirees - Melbourne Eastern Branch
The Association of Independent Retirees, formed in 1990 and more widely known as A.I.R., is the peak body representing the views of fully and partly self-funded retirees. It's a not-for-profit volunteer organisation whose major purpose is to represent this rapidly growing section of the Australian population at all levels of Government.
The objects of A.I.R. include:- The benefit and welfare of all retirees; Seek a fair and just economic, taxation and social environment that recognises and compensates for the special problems of fully or partly self-funded retirees; Provide information on all matters pertaining to retirees.
A.I.R.'s Melbourne Eastern branch has General Meetings on the first Friday of each month (except January) at the Senior Citizens Hall, Silver Grove, Nunawading commencing at 10.00am.
