This is a Focus Group of the Sustainable Living Foundation.
>> Sustainability minded people working together to hasten change and raise the sustainability bar from the ground up “where they live” ie in the local community through:-
* inter community based collaboration and
* communication promoting the adoption of sustainability action across Victoria.
>> Helping to galvanise and/or promote real action on local levels across Victoria to inspire and catalyse more widespread adoption of workable solutions and successful community engagement activities.
This hands on group of people is working to develop the creative ideas and strategy to increase the active participation of:-
* Local Councils,
* Local Community Groups and their constituents and
* Non Government Organisations (NGOs)
who are engaged in community sustainability-related projects such as Sustainability Street, Smart Gardens and Cool Communities in SLF's sustainble living promotional platforms including:
Sustainable Living Calendar,
Sustainability Month February 2005
