This is a communication site for the Executive members of the Australian Council for Adult LIteracy.
To use the chat facility simply click on CHAT from the left hand menu. It will ask you to nominate a nickname - your first name will do.
The first time you use it it will also ask if you want to download an applet - click YES - its needed to run the program.
Once the chat screen opens you will notice a large white space where the dialogue goes and a small white box underneath where you type your message (and click enter).
You may need to organise a 'channel' - just follow prompts but exclude the inverted commas.
