Linking directly to your community at mc2

If you want to link directly from your Website to your community at mc2 you must remember:

people will have to login when they arrive at your community, before they can interact.
If they are not a member of your community yet, they will also need to join (and also be approved, if your group is for members only).
If they have not yet registered with mc2, they will also need to do this, in addition to subscribing.

Linking directly to Forum, Guestbook etc.
It is not currently possible to link to a specific part of your community, you will need to send visitors to the mc² front page to login, or go to your Group Info page to read about your community.

Remember people will need to login, as well as join your group (subscribe), or even register with mc² first, if they haven't already done so.

N.B. There is actually the possibility of linking directly to your Forum, if you know your group ID, and refer to it in the link URL. You can only establish your group ID in the URL of the link that is included in messages from your Forum, e.g. the text of the email will say something like:
To respond to this message please follow this link and login to mc2:
http://mc2.vicnet.net.au/cmt/forum/post.html?gid=45916&id=98752
In this instance the group ID is 45916, so to link directly to the Forum the link would be to mc2.vicnet.net.au/cmt/forum/index.html?gid=45916
