Login Name / Email Adress

• Every member of mc² has a unique identity which they must use to login each time they use mc² - see  Security: Login

• You cannot change your login later, so choose wisely!

• The login you choose must be 4 - 8 characters long and only contain letters and numbers [no spaces], e.g. Mary Jones might choose mjones or maryj.

• The login name you chose will also form the first part of your email address. E.g. if you choose mjones, your email address will be mjones@mc2.vicnet.net.au

• Every registered user of mc² is allocated 10Mb of personal webspace. This is a place on the web to store your homepage and associated images, as well as the files in the "My Files" part of the mc2 File Management System.

• The login you choose will also be reflected in the URL, or web address, of your PERSONAL webspace, e.g. http://mc2.vicnet.net.au/home/mjones

• Do not use the name of a GROUP you later wish to establish, or the name will then already be "taken" by you when you need it later!

• Any group you later go on to create will have its own webspace and individual webspace name.
