mc² is a virtual meeting place where communities interact online to form a living web. mc² helps connect people regardless of language, location, background, age, ability or resources. mc² is an initiative of the Victorian Government's Connecting Communities policy. Funded by the Victorian Government and coordinated by Vicnet, the main objective of mc² is to encourage community groups located in Victoria (Australia) to create their own online communities. To achieve this, mc² offers participating groups a variety of free, easy to use Web-based services which they can use to communicate with existing members & like-minded communities across the world. | The Skills.net Roadshow is an integral part of the Victorian Government's Connecting Communities: the second wave. The Skills.net Roadshow trainers utilise laptops and/or local training venues to deliver the training to people who wouldn't normally have access to the Internet. The Roadshow website has a number of Fact Sheets which list links to a variety of useful sites, on topics such as: Sport, Genealogy, Health, Seniors etc. |

It was designed as a resource for public libraries in Victoria, Australia, but is open to use by anyone with internet access.
