Create your own Homepage Search Help Help with using mc²

You can create a basic Homepage with mc2, without knowing anything about code! Just login, then follow the link on the orange navigation bar, towards the top right of the screen, to "My Webpage". This will launch the mc² Webpage generator. Using basic templates, you will have a webpage up on the Internet in 5 minutes! Specific Help is available with "My Webpage".

If you are comfortable with generating your own HTML webpages (e.g. with Homesite, Dreamweaver or other text editor), then you can upload them to your 10MB of Personal Webspace using the mc² File Management System. Just follow the link to My Files, which is part of My Office.

If you are comfortable with using FTP (recommended for advanced users only), then this is a way to directly upload multiple files to your personal or group webspace, and avoid using the mc² File Management System.

If you are an owner or moderator of an mc² group, you can use the Group Webpage template feature. The link for this is on the bottom left of any group you own or moderate. Or owner/moderators can upload HTML files directly to your Group Webspace, using the Group Files option for your group.

If using the mc² Webpage Generator, be sure to name the file for the front page of your site index.html - in this way, it will load automatically when you go to your group webspace URL, e.g. mc2.vicnet.net.au/home/mc2demo/web.
