Group Webspace

The webspace name you chose for your group will be reflected in the URL, or web address, of your community. This includes your online interactive Group's Group Info page, all the Webpages you generate, your Group Files and Group Mailing List name.

Alert Do not use your personal name - the group will share this space

Alert Choose carefully, as the webspace name you create cannot be changed later!

It must be 4 - 8 characters long and only contain letters and numbers [no spaces]. You must start with a letter, not a number.

Try using an acronym of your group, e.g. if your group is known as the "Victorian Dog Lovers Group", choose the acronym "vdlg" or "vicdog" or even "doglovers".

Every registered community at mc² is allocated 50Mb of group webspace. This is a place on the web to store your webpages, newsletters and shared files [accessed via Shared Files] and the files in the Group Files part of the mc2 File Management System. More on Webspace.
