Virus
A program that is loaded onto your computer without your knowledge, designed to infect & destroy other software programs &/or computer hardware. They are often spread via email attachments, which is a good reason to delete suspicious mail without opening it.
Because viruses are so common, mc² strongly advises that everyone installs, runs and frequently updates a virus checking program on their own computer.
