Netscape
Netscape was the first really popular software program that let you view webpages. Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) has long eclipsed Netscape as the most-used Web browser, though there are others, such as Mozilla Firefox, claiming an increasing share of the browser market now. See also: browser

Network
A group of two or more computers that are connected by a communications link & obey a set of rules (communication protocols) to correctly interpret any data sent between them. Workplaces commonly employ a network of connected machines that can share files, rather than "stand alone" devices. The Internet is a huge network of smaller networks.
