A programming language developed by Sun Microsystems which allows real time updates of Web pages & incorporates many dynamic features, such as the use of applets. You need java installed to use mc² chat. You can check if your computer is Java-enabled. If required, you can Download Java from java.com
Javascript
Despite it's name, JavaScript really doesn't have anything to do with Java. JavaScript is also a programming language, but it's a much simpler one. Check if your computer is Javascript-enabled. See also: Writing basic JavaScript
JPG / JPEG
Images used on Web pages are usually in jpg or gif format. jpg files are compressed and generally used for photographs. See Images
