using mIRC to keep a record of the Chat Keeping a record of the Chat

If you wish to save a written record of the chat conversation, you are not able to do this through the mc² Java chat applet. As with an ordinary conversation in a room, when you leave the chat room, the words said are gone. This allows casual conversation of quickly typed words. For more detailed discussion, it may be better to raise issues in the Forum.

If you really do want a written record of the chat, it is possible if someone enters the chat room via mIRC. This is a third party piece of software used for chatting. With mIRC, you just enter the channel with mIRC, then click on the channel icon mIRC channel icon, select "logging", and a text file log will record the chat for you.
