Java support must be enabled


In mc² chat, once you have entered a nickname, chosen colours, clicked on the ENTER button, accepted the JPilot Applet Security Warning, the chat applet should then open up in a new window:

If this is not the case, or you just get a grey box, as below:
If you get a grey screen, the Java chat applet has failed to load. Have you installed Java? Did you say YES to the security alert?
it could be because you do not have Java or Javascript enabled on your browser. Please follow the instructions below. If you have a browser/version which is not specified below contact us with the name and version of your browser.

If you are using Windows, and you do not have the Java Virtual Machine installed,
you may download it from here:

Regarding the Java Security Warning - just click "Grant" or "YES" to install the Java plug-in

There is also a download Java from apple.comMac (OS 9) version of the java virtual machine (version 2.2.5)
and download Java from apple.comVersion: 1.4.1 for Mac OS X 10.2.6 or later

Not sure if Java is enabled on your current machine?

Your browser is not currently Javascript enabled, so the Java check cannot be completed! You may experience difficulties with some features of mc2. The Vicnet Help Desk may be able to assist.


Please Note: Even if your browser appears to be Java enabled,
you may still experience difficulties if you do not have the latest version installed...
