Advanced Settings
The next few options are used to set your chat applet pop-up window. These settings only apply to you as an individual, not to the group as a whole. You can choose your own window size, text size and colour, or just leave them on the default settings. Remember to click on "Save Settings" to keep your changes.
- Chat Window Size: This controls the size of the pop-up chat browser window, or page
Small: This is for older monitors with a low resolution of 640 x 480 pixels
Medium: This is a common default setting for monitors with a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels
Large: This is for newer high res monitors with a resolution of 1024 x 768 or above

- Text Font Size: See Large Text - Increasing Font Size
- Text Colour: This is the colour text that the messages will be viewed in.
- Background Colour: This sets the background colour for the chat window. For readability, ensure that the background contrasts with the text colour, e.g. black on white, dark blue on pale yellow etc.
Once you have changed all the above settings to suit you, you must click on the grey "Save Settings" button to keep your changes. This will save the settings you just chose, so they will automatically be there every time you return to the chat section within that group.
