If you want a picture on the entry page for your mc2 community, owners and moderators can provide details in the URL of Group Banner &/or Group Picture fields of the Group Settings. These are optional fields. If given, the URL must refer to a .gif or .jpg image file already on the Web. See: Images

broken, or missing, imageDo not refer to a .htm or .html webpage here, or a "broken image" symbol will appear on the entry page for your community - it is looking for an image file, not webpage.

If the image you wish to refer to is not on a Website anywhere yet, you can upload it into your Webspace by using the Shared Files or "Group Files" upload facility.

Once uploaded, you can find out the URL of any image by right-clicking on it, then select "properties".

You can highlight the URL with your mouse, then use the "Ctrl-C" keys to copy it to the clipboard:

You may find it easier to have 2 browser windows open to do this - one showing the image you want, the other showing the "Create Community" or "Group Settings" page.
