Dung Beetle Traps

Hi All, I am about to embark on a community dung beetle monitoring project and I was wondering if anyone had any designs for pitfall traps that would allow us to collect and count dung beetle species present in the area. We are keen for the design to be simple for community members to be able to use and check. I have seen one design with a piece of mesh on legs with a bag of dung on top. the beetles burrow through dung and fall into the bucket waiting in the ground below.
